Apple Releases Security Updates for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple Watch

Apple Macbook

Apple has released important security updates for iPhone, iPad, Mac, and Apple Watch. iPhone and iPad will be updated to iOS 14.4.1 and iPad 14.4.1, Apple Watch users will be updated to watchOS 7.3.2, and Mac users will be updated to macOS Big Sur 11.2.3.

Apple stated that this update provides an “important security update” and it is recommended that all users must install it.

The above patch fixes the same vulnerability-a memory corruption error in WebKit, the engine that drives the Safari browser. An attacker can trigger the vulnerability by visiting a malicious web page containing code that can exploit this vulnerability. Once exploited, malicious code can be executed on the affected Apple device.

Considering the severity of this vulnerability, it is recommended to update your device to the latest version as soon as possible.
