Hackers have stolen personal information from hundreds of politicians active in the major political parties of Almaya, including credit card information and phone numbers.

Since Reuters transferred it from ARD TV, it also contained addresses, personal letters, and ID cards. The stolen information was shared on a Twitter account.

Apart from the extreme right-wing AfD (Alternative für Deutschland), a group of politicians from all the parties elected to the Bundestag (German federal parliament) were affected by the cyber attack.

It is not yet clear who made the attack.
