The Chinese company Huawei was able to adapt to the pressure of low-priced mobile sellers with a wide range of mobile phones for all tastes. It has also helped the brand to produce their own processors for phones, which leaves more room for maneuver when it comes to pricing them. Taking into account the mix of design, features and price, Huawei has sold more than 200 million phones in 2018 , according to the company.
That includes the Huawei phones and its sub-brand Honor, which is sold mainly through the Internet and with lower operating costs. But sometimes both brands, Huawei and Honor, sell identical or almost identical phones with different names. It is a substantial increase from the 153 million sold in 2017, in the absence of the actual figures of 2018 as soon as the quarter is fully closed.
As of the third quarter, it has had significantly more competition from other companies such as Xiaomi, which will surely close an amazing year in sales.
