Carl Zeiss VR One Plus
Although the Carl Zeiss VR One Plus is a fairly basic VR headset, it’s still a solid enough product to gain a decent insight into what exactly mobile VR gaming is like.
This particular VR contraption supports both iPhone 6 and Galaxy S5, with its clever removable tray that slides between the back panel and the lenses resulting in a decent enough product.
There are certainly some better VR headsets on the market today, although this particular option is one the original VR headsets on mobile.
Oculus Quest 2
While the aforementioned Carl Zeiss VR One Plus might do the job for some mobile VR gamers, products like the Oculus Quest 2 will be adored by almost everyone.
A modernized version of classic options like the Carl Zeiss VR One Plus, the Oculus Quest 2 is a great device, particularly if you’re looking to explore VR gaming without breaking the bank.
Coming with two controllers and incredibly slick in its design, it also boasts a Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 and 6GB of RAM. PC gamers will be pleased to know that it can work on most PCs, too, although you’ll need to purchase the Oculus Link cable for a small price.
Google Cardboard
Although Google appears to have halted its push into the mobile VR gaming market, it still has a number of products that are being snapped up by mobile gamers. One of them is Google Cardboard, although a number of other sites sell something similar if you struggle to find Google’s version of it.
It’s simple to use, it doesn’t cost much, and it will provide you with a genuine insight into mobile VR gaming before you potentially decide to invest more time and money into it. Other options include the Nintendo Labo VR Kit and Merge VR.
